Ka-Te's Major Event Gelding, Flaxen Chestnut, 14.2+, Ten Years Old "Doc" has
been purchased by Catherine Libert of Monterey, California. Doc's new
owner shares him with a number of new young riders when they are not enjoying
the beautiful Monterey Peninsula together. Ellen
"Doc" was purchased as a yearling with the intention of showing him in the Grand National Futurity as a three-year old. He had a wonderfully successful year as a three-year old and finished out that year achieving the goal that we had set in winning the Futurity Western Pleasure Championship. Doc continued his winning ways the following year carrying an amateur to several nice wins and being the horse to beat in the Four-year old division and the Junior Championships. He has been ridden lightly here at home and is ready to carry a junior exhibitor to the winner's circle as a western pleasure or hunter pleasure horse. Doc loads, hauls, clips, bathes and is pleasant for a child or beginning amateur to show and ride. He is cute as a bug and his dramatic color makes him an eye-catching ride. Ka-Te's Major Event
